Colombia, one of the elite 17 Megadiverse countries, has a colossal range of spectacles. Right from the Lost City, up in the mountains to the legend of the City of Gold, deep underwater.

The river CaΓ±o Cristales has a fascinating river bed that changes colours from yellow, green, blue, orange and red during the months of July to November. The river is also know locally as the 'Liquid rainbow' or 'River of five colours'. Check out this youtube video to get an idea of the magic.

Music

Colombia is rightly known as the land of thousand of rhythms. We would highly recommend checking out this article by Nat Geo : So You Want to Explore the Land of a Thousand Rhythms? If you look at the wiki page for Music of Colombia, you might end up seeing more genres than artists.

The music of Colombia has constantly evolved. The geographic location of the country with the access to the Pacific ocean and the Caribbean sea has also played a role in shaping the music over time. If we had to HAD TO categorise the genres of music, you could divide them as per 4 influences: Native Colombian(e.g. Vallenato), Β African(e.g. Currulao), Latin American(e.g. Salsa) and European(e.g. Porro).

We have tried to restrict the playlist as much as we can and not make it longer than 2 hours yet cover a wide range of artists. Here you go! Spotify and Youtube
