☝️is the longest name of a place in the world. This place, also known as Taumata Hill, is in the Hawke's Bay region of New Zealand and translates to "the place where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, who slid, climbed and swallowed mountains, known as 'landeater’, played his flute to his loved one." The name Kiwis for New Zealanders is derived from the native, endangered, flightless, nocturnal bird called Kiwi. (and not kiwi-the fruit, which is native to China). Amongst many other native species, there is another difficult to spot native parrot which weighs up to 4kgs, breeds every 4 years and can even live up to a 100 years.
